Info on light timing

need some help to set up my light timers
i have two 48" light fixtures one with a corallife true actinic 03 bulb and the other with a corallife ocean sun 10000k bulb i wanna know at wich interval can the lights be turned on and for how long currently i have the daylight set to start at 1:00 pm until 9:00 that make 8 hours and the other one the actinic 03 starts at 5:00 pm until 1:00am 8 hours too will this work or do they both have to start at the same time and shut off at the same time too what is the best setting for this
any info would be great thanks

You do want both on at the same time as together they will give you more light to grow things. I don't what time it gets light where you are, or what time you're at home, but for most people something like actinics on at 10, main light on at 11, main light off at 10pm, actinincs off at 11 is about right.

People with MH tend to run shorter photoperiods. In all honesty they only need to be on for 5 or 6 hours.
