Info Request: Tetras & Guppies??

I'm aiming for a tetra tank, and thought it would be nice to include some select exotic guppies as well. The tank will be well planted. I am wondering if the guppies will adapt to the water parameters that I have to maintain for the more fragile tetras and plants. Or am I headed for trouble?

Anybody have an experience, suggestions or recommendations? Appreciate your help.

nah you'll be fine. tetras aren't that fragile really, the only ones I've had trouble with are the ones I keep now (see sig), and that was only when I first got em. The 10 I have in there now have been going strong for like a year or so.

Thanks Mike. As to water parameters . . . how does pH @ 6.5-6.8, Hardness <12 DH, Temp 78 F sound?

Sounds ok. Guppies are pretty hardy little critters.
