Hello all --
We have a very sick looking (although not acting) female sword tail. She was VERY pregnant (and may still be) but today we noticed that she has some red spots on her side that appear to be internal, I don't see any external damage. The spot exists on both sides but is more prominent on the one side than the other -- the side with the more prominent spot appears to be a little swollen. The blood spot is directly behind her internal organs.
Also, peering into her skin, there is a small egg like mass above her spine or on her spine. We just noticed this all today. Her tank mates all apear fine and she is acting very healthy.
Trying to find my digital camera to take a pic -- till then she is being isolated into a sick tank.
Any help would be appreciated.
