Harvey! My new Red Eared Slider. I have had him for about 3 months and he has doubled his size. Turtles are cool

As a kid I had a "Painted Belly" named Taz. Still one of my favorite pets to this day.

I have two red eared sliders
oh i guess i should update my sig
i just recently bought another one
if you feed them a lot they grow a lot
but they wont grow as much if they dont have a good sized tank
i put my first 1 inch in to a 110 by himself lol
he had a lot of room but hes getting really big

Yours are so cute! They do get huge, I can't believe Harvey has grown 3 inches in 3 months. I am gonna have to get a bigger tank for him in the future.

The only fish that Harvey won't eat is the cory catfish in there with him right now. He ate EVERYTHING else

we had a red eared slider show up in our pond a few years back. his name was elliot and lived there for about a year until something came in and killed everything in there including him....but we had koi with him and it seemed to be fine.
