this morning i looked at my tank and noticed that two of my fish were ill. first of all one of my plattys had white on her back and a few very small white dots over her body.she died by this afternoon.
My clown pleco is also ill usually an extremly shy fish stayed on the glass in the daytime which it NEVER does (usually rushing back to its castle whenever anyone comes in the room) now the pleco has moved to attaching itsself to th back wall right behind the heater.he also has very small white dots on him.
i read that ich was meant to look like salt but these dots are smaller than that. i bought a treatment that is meant to treat lots of things because i am not sure what it is. i have raised the temperature of the tank.
a week or so ago i bought some new fish so i am assuming they brought it in but they are all fine and it has only effected my older ones.
I do not have any nitrites or amonia in the water either
i really dont want my pleco to die.
