Now that spring is here and theres lots of natural light
i turn light on in morning when i feed and turn off about 4p ( winter schedule )
my fish look beautiful in the fluorescent light.
But when i turn it off my fish are freakin !! Beautiful !!! SO MANY COLORS !!!
i dont want to mess up there schedule but they look SO MUCH MORE BEAUTIFUL in natural light im thinking of turning off maybe at noon.
but when winter gets here again i dont want to mess them up.
just curious of all your lighting schedules ( non planted of coarse LOL )
thats not for a while ! LOL
thanks for any input

If you don't have live plants, the lighting schedule shouldn't cause any problems. If you want to leave the tank lights off, it's fine.
i was just checking out your tank pics and they are freaking beautifal !
i see you ( like most here have MTS ) LOL !!!!!!
i know ill be taking planted plunge but not just yet
need more knowledge from you seasoned vetrerans !
again thanks for input

Natural sunlight caused severe algae growth in a tank near a window. I keep them out of the sunlight now.
Ya i dont let direct sunlight on tank because i too had algae problem.
but if i do blinds just right theres so much light in room without direct sun blinding you or boiling your tank LOL.Im glad i went with 3 windows in my den.
