In my 10 i have 2 velvet swordtails 1 male 1 female 1 Female Germen Blue ram and 15 baby swordtails.Also lots of snails if you want to buy some PM me.

My opinion is yes. Rule of thumb, 1 inch of fish per gallon of water (or what I go by)

i think it's fine, but once the swordtails grow up it'll be too much

Not overstocked at this point, but will be soon once those babies start growing

I am trying to go by the one inch rule myself however if you are happy and the fish are happy then "forget" the rest of us.

Plus it saves us both measuring each fish we have!

i've realized pretty quickly that the 1 inch per gal is pretty meaningless. not only can you sometimes have much LESS than that (ie, you wouldn't keep a 12" green terror in a 12 gallon tank!), but a lot of times, you can have considerably more than that!! for instance, look at the stock of my 29 gallon (in my sig).. it's quite a bit more than 29" of adult fish i think, but it's working out really well!

good luck with your tanks. 2 swordtails and 1 gbr doesn't sound like too much to me, though i'm no expert!

I agree that right now it is okay but as the fry grow it will become overstocked.
