Ive just bought a superdelta betta fish(named him Leonardo) and its been about a week and a half. He acts perfectly healthy, swims around, readily eats(even from my hand) and over all looks healthy. But recent readings on betta health have brought up something that concerns me. I read somewhere that a white belly means theyre stressed/bloated. I never knew a slightly round belly meant an illness. I assumed it meant he ate well cuz i bought him like that. Does prolonged bloat harm fish? Is my fish even bloated or is this how he should normally look? Am i worrying too much?
