is my female betta ripped up or something?

its fins look riped up or something all it does is stay on the floor and strugle swimming upp to get food(i think) is my fish going to die oh yeah i just got her today

OK, what other fish are in the tank?

Is she the only female betta?

What size of tank?

Do her fins look like they have greyish, rotting ends?

You can treat with Bettafix or Melafix (same stuff), that usually helps with fin-growth and mild fin rot. Most Walmarts carry this stuff.

are you saying your female betta is with a male? umm...

Are you trying to breed them? If you don't have the right setup the male will kill her.

Males and females do not mix, they only tolerated each other to breed, then the male chases the female away. In a tank (any size) that male will hunt her down and kill her.

Put her in a seperate bowl/vase/anything, just get her away from that male unless you know how to breed and care for these guys.
