Hey all,
I have a scissortail rasbora that's gotten very round bellied over the past week or so. It's the smallest of three in the tank (along with some other misc fish)
this started near the end of treatment with coppersafe for ich. the back half of the fishs' belly got large at first, now it is more like the back 2/3. I'm thinking either constipation (by now a very bad case if it is) or maybe gravid? The fish seems otherwise healthy and happy although when I am able to watch them eat, it seems to eat and spit back out bits of food. Of the three rasboras this one has the best color on the fins - in fact its the first time one of them has fully colored up on the tail fin (white and black spots) since they moved into this tank early this spring.
So I dont know what to think.
you can see a crappy photo of them here: http://hisbodylife.com/ipw-web/gallery/album08/oct_16_048
out of focus and the flash obscures a lot of it, but I was having a very hard time getting any kind of good picture at all, and this one is nice because there is a definitely healthy fish nearby to compare.
Any help would be appreciated.
