is my guppy gay??!?!?!?!?!

ok I have had 2 male guppies for a while, recently in a tank by themselves, so i thought they were lonely so i got them some girlfriends, 3 btw, well my pretty orange tail male hasbeen "flirting" with the females, but my yellow tail male has still been "flirting" with the other male and if a female comes near him he darts away quickly... what do i do?????

I'd just leave them to it.If they haven't been together long he'll get the idea eventually.There may just be a dominance thing going on.

You may have confused "flirting" with displaying which is when a male will show of his fins and make himself look big and pretty to another male. This is actually normal and is the males trying to decide who will be the alpha male in the tank. Once they get that figured out, he should prolly start defending a female when he's ready.

it is possible for a guppy to be gay or any sort of livebearer, coz i have a black molly thats a male and it tries to mate with.... rams, kribs, platys, guppys, catfish and some more.... lol
