Is my ICK cured?

i got ICK the second time ever, 3 days ago. i treated my tank after i noticed one little spot on my one guppy, before it got any worse with "quick cure"... this morning i woke up disapointed that the spots are still on my fish after treating it for 3 days (the max dosage)..my fish seemed to be getting worse when i watched it this morning.. he also started rubbing on the gravel, and not eating... but tonite i noticed that all the spots are away now! I just dont understand how in 12 houres later my fish has no spots, and is eating again!... could it be cured that fast? i guess i was just expecting it to get slowly better each day... but BAM it happed all at once!... i heard ICH goes in cycles... could the spots be gone because they are falling off into the gravel as part of its "ICH" cycle?

You will need to treat for another 4 days. The meds can only kill the ich after it has fallen off the fish, if you don't continue to treat, the ich will multiply and reinfect your fish.

Since you got Ich again in a relatively short period of time, if I remember correctly, I'm wondering what your temp is or has it been fluctuating. Then too have you added any new fish lately...is the LFS' stock infected. Most people don't treat long enough to kill the free floating parasites, as Lotus said.
