Is my water ok?

I did not have power for 6 days and the tank got down to about 30 degrees is it ok to just start it back up? BTW itt is a brackish tank

I dont see why falling temp would effect anything except killing fish from shock.

the bacteria might have been effected by the cold temps and if the fish died, there was no ammonia to feed them either

if it was me i'd get the tank back up to temp and start adding clear ammonia with no additives(maybe to 2 or 3ppm) and then test it everyday to see if your bacteria is recovering...in others words that it is using ammonia and u see that nitrites dont start showing up after about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks

if it turns out that u dont have any bacteria in there anymore at least you'll be on your way with a fishless cycle
