My Silver Wag Platy, Misery, is in labor right now. I noticed yesterday morning that she has a white dot on her tail. Since then, it hasn't seemed to grow or spread to other fish. What could it possibly be?? I can't take a picture being my camera doesn't like my computer. It refuses to download the software so I can upload the photos and videos. Jerks.

I put 2 tablespoons of salt in the tank. I still don't know what it was, becuase it eventually faded away and now it's gone. It was never on any other fish and she acted normally. Maybe it was from being pregnant?? I did notice that she aborted her babies....
On Monday Morning she was fat, hungry, and you could see the fry in her stomach. When I cam home (about 10 hours later) she was skinny, you could not see the fry, she was still hungry, but there were no fry!! Her belly is pink now and she lost a littlw weight but is still pretty chunky. She lost about 1/4-1/3 of her weight. I set up some mesh at the bottom of the breeder net so the fry would fall through and the mom couldn't eat them. Like I said, there was nothing but poop. What do you supposed happened??
