my bettas gills are sticking out. im certain he is not flaring. other than that he looks very healthy... is he ok?thanks!

Does he appear to be gasping? If so, its probably a water quality issue. I would recommend doing a water change if thats the problem.

Otherwise he may have gill flukes. I can't remember what medicines can be used for that. I think its either Clout or the maroxies. It may just be nothing so keep an eye on it before you diagnose your betta.

the betta i just bought looks very week. he now flares at a mirror but only his gills flare out. His fins look good but they dont flare!

He's probably tired/sluggish/not feeling well, Temptaion. Maybe add a little betta max or melafix.
