I got this fishtank today and have not filled it full of water, noticed a weird spot in the bottom area and one small (very small) chip at the top outter edge of one side.

I don't have any experience with larger fishtanks and wanted to ask if these two spots are issues or if the tank should still perform ok.

Here are the pics

First this is the inside back seam area shot,

the trim is in the way so I can't quite make out what this is a chip an imperfection, a spot from the mold to make the tank or trim or ?? Was thinking this could be an impact crack (possibly tank was dropped) but would that spread? If I fill it and it holds am I safe or at risk of it breaking open any time...

Here is the second picture,

this is the top back corner just below the trim I noticed a very small sliver looking piece that is still attached and does not look thick at all (very thin layer) especially when compaired to the thickness of the glass and seal between each piece, but again wanting some confirm what others think on this before I fill it with 75 gallons of water.

Just looking for some input based on the pics I supplied as I am new to fishtanks of this size and or any issues and if it can still be used etc.

Thanks,

Bill :)

I agree that it would be fine. I have had a 110 up now for a couple of years with a similar chip that I bought used with no issues. That said, if it is a new and you have the option of returning it for another, I probably would.
