Is this Ick?

My pregnant female has 3 spots on the left side of her body. The only way I can explain it is they are small dots that are reflective. Looks almost like a CD.....lol Could that be ick? And if it is do I need to treat jsut her or the whole tank?

It sounds like natural iredescent coloring to me, I'd need a pic(or at least the type of fish!) to tell for sure.

In either case, I'm highly doubtful it is ick; ick looks like grains of salt or suger; tiny white bumps.

EDIT: After reading your sig, I'm assuming it is a guppy; shiny spots(iredescence) is perfectly normal, and very common, on guppies. It is also common for them to develop it later in life, so it isn't strange that you didn't notice it untill now.

Are they white dots? That will be ich. I never heard of ich being shiny. What kind of fish?

Yeah, it's shiny....flat, not raised looks like and is like a hologram...CD

ok, in both pictures, you can see it right below the eye, round spot that's shiny, you can't see the ones on her body tho
