That is over two feet taken up in a tank with fish that are going to get MUCH bigger. 70 gallons really isnt that big of a tank for the kind of fish you have in there already.. for the health and room to grow for those fish I would not put anymore in there...IMO

yeah your over stocked already, not really through the bio load, but more through territory issues. the green terror is likely going to want most, if not the whole tank for himself, which doesnt leave much room for anything else. also you clown knife will get very big and eventually need a bigger home.

Nice looking green terror. What's the medim sized (maybe 4"?) white fish?

Wow you've got a lot of feeders in there.

Do you have a cave or something large enough for the clown knife to hide?

You will inevitably have space issues. The clown knife will eventually chrw the con and firemouth I reckon.

I don't think you should dump so many feeders in there - 1. use another diet for the health of the fish, and 2. sooner or later a sick feeder will take all the other fish with it. If you have to use them put them in another tank and for god sake quality check them

i have another tank for the feeders next to it. i just threw them in there because i had to clean out the feeder tank and put fresh water in it. i just put them in the big tank for a few minutes and then caught them all and put them in the feeder tank. about the clown knife, ive been wanted to get rid of it for a while but i really dont know how to take it to the LFS. so if the knife wasnt there, would my tank still be overstocked?

What you could do is get a cooler, or a large plastic tub...use a large garbage bag and put it inside the tub..putting tank water in it just like they do to bag fish up when you buy them from the LFS just larger bags...after you catch the fish put it in the bag...close the bag around an air hose to pump some fresh air in there and seal it up so the air stays inside the bag and you are good to go. Im sure the LFS would be glad to take it off your hands and it would certainly help your tank...good luck.

well i started them all out when they were about a 1" big. i had the GT, a con, firemouth, the clown knife, a Jd, a red devil, and texas in there to start. The red devil started to get big and beat on everything so i took him back. Then the Jd and texas got very agressive and the texas killed the jack so i took texas back because i figured he was gonna end up killing everything else. Now the fish have been in there in there for a good year now. i havent had no problems with them really.
