Two 55 gallon fish tanks with pumps and stands

Ok here is the listing

I talked to guy, no picture yet, but i would get one 55 gallon tall, wood stand, fluval filter for 60 dollars.

Is it worth it to get this tank and replace both of my tanks for this one tank? or should i stick with the two i have and let this pass?

I am not concerned with the starting cycle again, it is more a weight issue, i live on second floor apartment would this tank be to heavy?

I could always store empty tank and stand out in patio till we move if it is worth to buy and hold onto. Just torn because it is the size i want and need for my fish dream, but i just got my tanks setup within the last three to four months.

total weight when filled with gravel and water would be 675-700 lbs so i don't know if apartments are designed to hold that much weight on top floor.

I am so tempted but if i get that means i need to buy the following:

Light, Hood, Air Pump, Gravel, Heater.

If i get i would merge both my existing tanks into one. Could i use both heaters 10 + 30 gallon heater in cali should keep it warm enough right? My temp in house never drops below 74.

I just got off phone with landlord... they said that all they require is renters insurance for any tank over 50 gallons. You think they would know difference of 5 gallons by looking at it? They don't come in apartment without my knowledge anyways, so i can always remove five gallons before they arrive and play game that way...lol. I don't think it would be noticeable the extra 5 gallons.

You may want to go ahead and get renter's insurance just in case. I'm sure the reason they require it is "in case" the floor isn't strong enough to support it, and you wouldn't want the floor to fall through and then you be stuck with all the damages with no renters insurance. Specially in the military, they'd go to your superiors, dock your pay, no fun at all.

the deal didn't work. I had money, will still be getting renters insurance, but the guy would not hold the item for me. I understand he wanted to get rid of them, but i live like 40 minutes away, he wouldn't hold them till i got there, so i decided not to fight traffic for a chance to get it, good thing i did not go because i would have been stuck on highway right now when he called saying he sold it to someone else. So hopefully i can get another deal on craigslist in the future. Oh well i say.
