I am in the process of figuring out exactly what I want for my CO2 system so I can try and order it from the same place and save on shipping if possible. I am leaning towards purchasing the Milwakee MA957 for a regulator, but the fact there is only a 6 month warranty on it makes me wonder a little. I am yet to hear bad things about it, and it seems their customer service and tech help is great as well.
On to the questions:
1. Has anyone experienced any problems with the MA957, or are there suggestions for other regulators worth looking at?
2. Is the Milwaukee SMS122 (PH controller) really worth getting? I understand its point and why it's helpful, but is it worth spending the $80-$90 for it? I realize that there will be more CO2 in the tank at night, but from what I have read, it doesn't seem to affect the fish too much as long as you aren't pumping the CO2 to the tank too hard. Just looking for thoughts and suggestions on this.
3. Can I just buy regular silicone tubing from a LFS or is it worth getting the "special" tubing to cut down on CO2 loss. I question how much it really helps, and who is really telling the truth online when they say their tubing helps cut down on CO2 loss.
I think that is all I have for now. Thanks in advance for any comments and suggestions.
