76-80 degrees is my recommendation. I wouldn't go above or below that.

I keep mine 80 w/ cichlids, so youd be okay..I would say to keep them healthy, 76-82..my Oscar seems happy at 82

I bought one for my fry tank..It isnt one that you keep on until you get the temperature you want and then you try to keep it there, It is one that has temperatureson it, so you just pick what one you want and it stays at that temp, like I put mine at 79..
