I always see things on Ebay under the brand of "Jebo." I've never seen this brand in a store, or anywhere else. Are the products of this brand junk, or just some off-brand I've never heard of?

It's a brand from Asia. Some of the stuff is OK. I have one of their tanks, and it seems to be fine (kind of a strange filter system, but it works). I think it's more common on the West Coast to see this brand, and I see it a lot in the Los Angeles area.

i just got a light set-up from ebay; jebo odyssea 48in 260w with four moon l.e.d's and mounting legs. it just came today ill let let you guys know how it is tomorrow because it got delivered to my girlfriends. i was gonna buy the coral life lunar aqualight but i thought this was a better deal so we will see.

Update: overall the light is great i have only two problems with it; one the fans dont seem to come on. And secondly i bought a 48in light for a 48in tank and the mounting legs dont fit they are to far apart. but the light output is great 2x96w 12000k daylight PC and 2x96w actinic blue PC and four blue LEDs.

I've always heard that it's basicly a knock-off of ehiem. For the most part it seems to be a decent filter for the price, but some people have had some problems with them, but nothing major I don't think. I've been wanting to get ahold of one for sometime now just to check it out for myself.

I do have a 24" moonlight made my odyssea that I love.

Reference Jebo/CFS4

I bought a Jebo/CSF4 from Ebay for $65.00 (shipping included) about 2 weeks ago. My water quality has improved 100%, is crystal clear and the fish seems happier. The canister filter itself feels of good quality, is very quiet and easy to prime. Has lots of space for media which is what you want for a better a healthier aquarium. The water flow seems reasonable considering the amount of media I have in the canister.

I have it set up on a 100 gallon tank and is doing great. Since I keep African cichlids and I like pushing the limits as far as feeding them lots of goodies and the number of fishes I keep, I though it may be a good idea to have a second filter, and since I like them very much I just ordered my second one.

The tank is fairly long so I don't one just one filter working overtime to keep it nice and clean. Plus alternating filter clean up helps mantain valuable bacteria which is important for maintaining good water chemistry. and I want to be able to alternate filter clean ups.

You will not regret spending $50 for this filter, on the contrary, you will be happy you did not spent $100 to $200 on a Fluval, Filstar or Eheim.
GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY FISHIES....

I use a Jebo R331. It's my only aquarium and I've had it for over 3 years. In my past experiences, I've kept goldfish(died) with suckermouth fishes for about a year and 1/2. Currently, I'm taking care of tropical fish. I think the filtering system works great with the built in florescent light. The only problem I encountered is that the fan inside the filter was stuck and I had to take it apart and reposition the equipment. But that was after a few years.

For my new set up, I replaced the filter wool material and added some activated carbon. System works great and I would highly recommend it to those who don't have much money to spend.

I bought two jebo odyssea 24" t5 light strips on ebay for my 55. very inexpensive but you get what you pay for. I am currently saving up for a pc setup to replace them, actually if I find a good deal on a trad. flourescent light I would prefer that. Would not recommend
