Jewels?

I have had these jewels for a few days now and i was wondering how to sex them can anyone tell by just looking at my avatar?Also is it easy to get them to have fry.And after they have fry how often will they continue to have fry[that is if they are boy a girl].Thanks any information will help!What type of plants and caves if any should i put in the tank?

Becareful with the jewel cichlids, I had 2 pairs that (combined) had about 250 fry. They can/will get aggressive, so becareful on what tank they go into. The males tend to be darker during spawning time.
