No it is not inside th gill that I can see..it looks like it is just hanging onto the gill. I have no airstones in my tank. All that I have that is carbon is my filter cartridge?? It is a whisper power filter with inserts and you put the little packs of carbon in..but if that was it wouldn't all of my fish be affected?? I don't know what it could be.

Edit: Actually now that I am looking really closely (its hard because he does not stay still) it may actually be coming from the inside the gill. The gill is not protruding a lot but it looks as if maybe the bubble is sticking out behind the gill..if that makes any sense.

hmm, i had a similar problem with one of my female guppies, only her case was different. it made her gill stick out almost as far as it could without breaking off. there was some almost bubble-looking growth or something growing out of it. none of my other fish got it from her. i still to this day have no idea what it was. probably some sort of parasite but the situation that youre talking about doesnt sound like mine exactly. that bubble on your cory might be a growth or something or might even be a parasite of some kind...

Thanks guys for the help. I don't think its exactly roundworm but it does look like something they pictured under "unexplained lumps and bumps" (go figure) HA! :p I am going to keep an eye on it for a few days and maybe try a salt bath treatment. I'll keep ya posted on how it goes. Thanks again for the help :)
