Just Added Rocks HELP!!!!:o

I had grabbed some rocks from the backyard, boiled them and poured vinegar on them to ensure that they were ok to put in the tank. Well, I put them in the tank and now I have this stuff on the sides of the tank and all over everything. It looks like dust almost. What is this? Should I be worried about it? What do I do??? I check pH and it seems to be ok. Please help me!!

Try using a gravel vac to remove the dust and see if it comes back. If so remove rocks, then monitor tank to see if it was the rocks. *twirlysmiley*

I just cleaned it off with my algae brush. I will monitor. What could that be? I am confused. I just go a new convict cichlid today. He is so cute and I don't want him or my boy oscar to die

i'm guessing it could be dust. or maybe by putting in the rocks..u sorta cause a small algae bloom. try to either suck it out or scrape it off and do a water change if you're worried.
