After getting some advice here, I decided on using my 55g to hold Mbunas. I went to a local shop and someone helped me stock the tank. Here is what I ended up with (all juveniles):
4 Pseudotropheus socolofi
3 Yellow Tailed Acei
3 Red Zebras
4 Rusty
2 Yellow Labs
They are all happy now and little aggression (probably because they're still young,) but will this stock work out once they get larger? I have two filters running and will keep the water pristine, I am more worried about the male/female ratios. He told me that none of them could be sexed so I do not know what to do. He did tell me that all of these are some of the more peaceful mbunas.
I would love any opinions/advice. Thanks in advance!!!
