Give it a little while to make sure there aren't any air bubbles left in it (this always causes a heck of a racket). If that doesn't work get it out and see if you can take it to pieces. If you can take of the base and take out the impellor (propellor thing). See if that is damaged, clean it, replace if need be , try again. Sand in the impellor housing can make a lot of noise, a scabby or damged impellor can.
If you can't take it to pieces wash it in vinegar overnight, rinse, test.
Be aware that the 600 lph powerhead is adequate for driving the filter , but you won't get much current in your tank. I don't think the 600 is standard on the 180 , implying one has bust before, and replaced with the cheaper 600.
