Hey guys, this is the area i just came from Karratha, this is the dampier achapaligo ( close enuff)
now the main reef that i use to ummmm walk out to is of to the right about 8 KM,
the little green pool at the bottom of the pic are salt farms for household and industrial use. there are hunderds of them to the left. there about 1 km long each, apparently karratha has a very high evaporation rate, so its a good place to farm salt. to the left also there are deep channels wich from the air look bloody fantastic to fish and ummm harvest. but as i was told when i kinda found my self climbing the fence with buckets the security bloke told me its all protected and your on private property, mmmmmm so being the sam sid ( good person ) i left, mmmmmmmm for now!.
