Kenyi turning yellow..Normal?

My Kenyi is now getting yellow on all his fins and starting too on his body. Is this normal or is something wrong? He hasnt been acting different and is still as aggressive.

Males will turn yellow as they mature.

Its either one, there is dispute about it like with most cichlids names, not sure what people are leaning toward now but itll probably change in a few weeks so it doesnt really matter.

I think it used to be pseudotropheus lombardoii too, or something like that. Technically, it could just be a really aggressive (dominant) female too...

used to be pseudotropheus kennyi I think - then became pseudotropheus lombardoi, then metriaclima.

Metriaclima vs. Maylandia is a hot topic around cichlid authors.. it depends on who you read... Ad Konings seems to be most popular so we all use Metriaclima up here, Stuart Grant uses Metriaclima, so does African Diving in Tanzania... so if the big names are using it we assume it's correct.

it's the same as F1 vs G1... we use G1, everyone else uses F1.. it's the same thing (not technically, but oh well)

there was some debate on the connix site, or the gas station about these 2 topics. it wouldnt be hard to find. it might even be on the MCHP or cichlids.com

with the F1 vs G1 arguement, I continue to use F1 even though technically its wrong just because its so widely used that its become an accepted term
