i woke up this morning to feed my fish and my pleco was sucking my breeder net. a closer examination revealed that my 2 baby sword tails (2 weeks old) were caught in my plecos sucking............?
If it's a common pleco, they're not meat eaters and shouldn't try and eat the fry. He may have just found some yummy algae on your breeder net and decided to munch at it. Your little guys were just caught in his snack. Are the fry okay?
