I know that these things gets up to 1 foot long. I have 2 in a 20gallon tank, so eventually I will need to move them into a 60G, or similar environment.

But my questions are:

How long will they grow to become 6 inches? 12 inches? They're around a little bit longer than 2 inch right now.

Also, right now, I have a adult size Blue Dwarf Gourami in the tank. These fish are the dwarf versions and will only go up to 2 inch long. I really don't want the blue drawf to get harmed or even eaten, so I am planning to move the kissing gourami when they're 6 inch long.

Currently, the blue dwarf seems to be a bit on the bully side with the 2 kiss gourami, but things may change when they get bigger.... so should I worry now, or a few months later? When should I make the move?

I would guess they'd get to be about six inches in a year or so (maybe a little bit longer).

As for making the move, the bullying probably won't last long. Are the kissers new? They may just be getting used to eachother. It all depends on the fish (I had a dwarf flame who bullied my 5" male blue!). I would watch out when the kissers start to bully the dwarf. They should be okay until then.

I have nothing else other than a few Zebra Danios and a chinese (golden) algae eater which I have for every tank.

The Zebra Danios are small (less than 1 inch) but they are extremely fast swimmers. During feeding time, the Danios can actually take food right out of the kissing gourami's mouth. The kissing gourami are supposed to be semi-agreesive, but they seem to be quite friendly for now.

I wanted an african drwaf frog in there too, but I do not know if the other fish will try to harm it.

So when should I begin separating the fish?

yeah my gouramis are never really that aggressive either. Supposedly they'll eat the small fish but i've had danios and tetras in with them and no poblems. just see how things work out. maybe they'll be able to coincide.
