I do have one, from what I understand they can get rather large. Mercury, you are right, they are not the most attractive looking fish, but interesting none the less. As a gourami they utilize the labrynth organ getting oxygen from the water surface. Their big lips and rasping action looks like they try to kiss everything in the tank. I noticed mine likes to eat some of my live plants, my crypt didn't last a week in his tank and he started eating at my glossostigma shortly after I put it in. A shy fish by himself, hopefully with a pair of them they will be more social for you then mine is for me. William, have you seen the two of them spar with their lips? It is a pretty cool site to see and usually ends up without harm to either. Anything else you have in your tank with them?
