Krib chasing

My krib pair have been doing well for several weeks now (tho still no fry) but yesterday i noticed that the male has started chasing the female all around the tank and she looks pretty stressed. Over the past week the female has seemed to be preparing a nesting site and has been quite elusive. So is the males behaviour due to wanting to breed or something else? Will the female be okay if left with him?

My Krib pair did the same thing. The chasing went on for a week or so, then they made up and all was well after that. It is possible that he decided she isn't the one for him, but I would wait it out and see what happens.

Thanks Avalon, they're still at it tho it does calm down when i turn the light off. I have another female in reserve if he really has decided against his current one! Wait and see i guess.
