Okay. Im doing a Kib tank iv decided against maybe doing a all African theme.

What would be some good fish to put in a heavy planted 55 gallon tank.

Tank Set-up
temp: 77 Degress
PH:6.5-7.2
Heavily planted with open areas
some floating plants
caves/pipes all STURDY

Im thinking a Pair of Kribs for sure

I would think the cichlids would uproot the plants. But maybe a few peacocks or Zebras.

I wouldn't. Kribs and the rift lake cichlids come from 2 different parts of africa....and at least from my experience have 2 totally different types of personality.

What about a couple pairs of kribs with Congo tetras for the upper portions of the tank? Possibly with a few upside down catfish (Synodontis nigriventris)?
