I just got a pair of kribs over the weekend. The female has been in beautiful colors for few days but there's no color change on the male. The female has been tried "dancing" around him but the male seems not interested at all. He even chases her away several times. Any idea why that happens? How to make them love each other and spawn?

Just because you have a male and a female doesn't mean 100% that they will for sure mate. They may never do the deed. Nothing is guaranteed when dealing with spawning fish.

Give him some time. After a few months have passed I would try a new male.

Like Pure said, give it some time.
The fact that my krib pair turned out to be a 'match made in heaven' so quickly is sheer luck, although I was careful in selecting them from the store---both were in full-coloration. (again, sheer luck...oftentimes they won't look this good at the store)

Thanks for all of your advices as well as laughs. It was a little bit better last night. They seems closer but the male still chases the female once a while. I put an additional cave (a coconut shell) and some plants. Hopefully, they will feel more comfortable.

I had a heck of a time getting kribs to breed. same story everytime females would color up and shake the the guy, the males just wouldnt give a damn.
eventually with a bigger tank and a bit of luck i got some to pair up. but then the male killed the female once they spawned. so i got another female and i got eggs and then she killed the male and ate the eggs.
