I want kribs so bad. I'm planning to move my 2 platies and 5 zebra danios from my 29 gallon aquarium. Could a pair of kribs get along with a red-tailed shark in a 29 gallon aquarium?

Slight chance they may not, but see no real problem. The shark for being classified as aggressive can be pretty calm.

I'm not that experienced with mixing community type fish with cichlids...but they do occupy the same area of the tank. Its possible they will scuffle when they come into contact with each other.

IMO I would move the fish from your first listed 10G tank into your 29G and put a pair of Kribs in your 10G.

I agree with fishgeek. Put a pair into the 10G and if they breed the fry will be fine until its time to move them, then you could move them into the 5G mabey.
