Alright well it should be easy enough to get a male now. And ive got some metro so any IP problems that arise ill be prepared.

Its a Canon Powershot A300. It doesnt take the greatest pics but the video turned out nice. It was 19 mb but i used windows movie maker and it compressed it real well, great program IMO after my first use.

Yep well my other angels passed away and i got two more and these two look great and they are still small, i love em they have great finnage.

By the way the video is of the krib guarding the brine shrimp you see on that piece of slate. I guess she wanted it all to herself hence the title krib aggression, i couldnt think of any other name anyways.

GREAT VID DEPTHC!

What do you suppose the minimum tank size is for a pair of kribs?

I just got a pair myself; luckily the smart lfs clerk was there and he sexed them for me. They aren't big enough to breed just yet and they seem very shy now that I've placed them in their new home; maybe a few days... you find any good web pages that deal with kribensis hobbyists?

Well unfortunately they wont do good in a 5 gallon tank (i read your thread about your roommate). I would say a 20 gallon tank or more. The two whatever their sexes may be will harass each other way to much in that small of a tank most likely causing death to one of them.

As for links to info on them ive read a few and here are some i found around my bookmarks :

DC-
Is that Powershot A300 a normal digital still cam w/ a video feature? My Canon has a video mode--if it's as good as yours, I'll be pleasantly suprised! That's a darn fine video you made!

Desi-
I'm not aware of any "popular" Krib pages, but there are various pages out there if you Google them. I know that there are several members here on MFT.net who have breeding Kribs, myself included. If there's anything you'd like to know, post or PM me!

well my cousin bought the kribs for the general cichlid tank; not knowing that they would be fish food. So I called the lfs and they told me that the only cichlid I own that could possibly go into the 5gal are the kribs. NO ONE ELSE can go in that tank.

Of course; i will take a 2nd opinion; it would just be nice to have a small splash of something in that empty tank (which at present is more of a nightlight than a fish tank). I would like to put one of my existing cichlids into the tank; and the lfs guy seems really knowledgable so I believed him. They are actually cuddling together now my two kribs; probably from all the stress?

Yes, its just a normal digital camera with the video feature.

It also records sounds, which i took out in that clip since you would of heard my niece pouting in the background which wouldnt go to good with the vid. :D

Try it out. And set the video to the largest file size, im my case it was only 640x480 but turned out decent.
