An update on my krib situation. I have a breeding pair in my 20 gal. Female has been rearranging sand and substrate in the two coconut caves and desperately displaying to the male.

However,

over the last few days the female has stopped displaying (returned to ordinary colours) to the male and has stayed near the cave and seems very attentive to something just inside the coconut cave (as does the male occasionally).

So my question is.....WHATS AROUND THE CORNER OF THE COCONUT CAVE (the only bit i cant see!!!)

could it be eggs?!

yeah the female has got a bit thinner, she was getting rather round before.
The pair seem to take it in turns to hover in the entrance to the cave and have been chasing the gourami away if her got to close (the gourami has been holding his own by chasing them back a few times, he not going to be messed about by any little fish!!!)

The female krib is shown as my avatar (but not so red now) and the male is pictured below (taken a few minutes ago)

If you look back at my previous thread (http://www.myfishtank.net/forum/showthread.php?threadid=21569) with pics of my kribs, the pair are the top two. The male is the top one, he's grown so much in just a few weeks!!!

I'll keep you updated if i spot anything in the cave!
