Hi
Just a question on kribs, when you try to spawn them, does it depend how old or mature they are ? because i was just wondering if you keep them seperate for like a year and then get them to spawn, will they then get it right without any more practises ??

They'll figure it out. Around the 2" or so you get at the store is breeding size. The female will do this sort of dance where she arches her back to show off her pink belly. The male will probably chase her, then they'll eventually find a cave of some kind and lay eggs. Mine did it like clockwork, though I only have the 2 babies left that I raised seperately. The mom keptleading the new babies by the filter intakes >_< Just keep the water clean and you can set your watch by them!

7 gallons isn't a lot of space for them to get away from each other if need be. It also pretty much limits you to nothing else in the tank other than the kribs.

The pair I currently have are very gentel to each other, but highly aggresive to other tankmates. In the past, I have had pair's that would seemingly fight every second of the day. Its going to depend on the personality of the fish.

ok, do you think my tank is too clean or thers not that mutch caves ? because the kribs are gentle to each other, but agressive to other fishes, i have seen my cousins tank, and he has a male, but the tanks is covered in dark green/black algae everywhere, but there is this piece of bog wood that covered in it and it likes to stay in there and its colours really show up.
