Kuhli loach aerobatics.

Any one have any ideas why one of my kuhli loach would spend 6+ hours doing loop the loops over the top of my other kuhli loach (lying on the gravel) with the light on???? They are now spending a lot of time perching together on a leaf near the water surface?  Ive only had them a day?

i had mine do that when i first got them i had three and they would be swimming loops around eachother it was cool they did it for a few weeks well now they hide all the time dunno why they hide so much that i don't even know if they are still alive i know at least one or two is still around found one dead the other day tho :-( the ones i got are the black khuli loachesi haven't had any luck keeping the striped ones either

The loop the loop thing dosent worry me that much, its the hanging around in the plants they just kind of "chill" together, they seem happy? Also they eat when I feed all the other fish and dont like hiding away? Do I have some freaky daylight kuhli's?  I wouldnt have thought they would like basking in the plants near the surface as I have a 400 Watt tube? I didnt think they liked light? Im confused :-(

Mine sometimes weave through some of the plants.

They seem to enjoy wrapping around things, as for playing together. They are a very communal species.
