Kuhli Loach Feeding Time

When is the best time to feed Kuhli Loaches? My boyfriend, prune tracy, thinks that I should figure out where they are before I turn off the light at night, turn off the light, and then feed them. Is this alright? Any other suggestions?

you will probably have more luck feeding right at or slightly before lights out....since they tend to become a little more active.

kuhli's often perish in the hobby simply due to a lack of proper feeding....usually because they are out-competed by other tankmates.

If you don't have any other bottom feeders, then you can feed them whenever, or just make sure enough regular food gets to the bottom. I kept the kuhli in my 10 gallon for quite a while without specifically feeding it (I do now). They will scavenge a bit during the day, as long as the food is reasonably near them. They are most active at night though, so you might have better luck feeding then.
