Large aquariums

Howdy!

Ok, everyone who read the Lounge post knows today is my birthday. I am hoping to recieve a few donations into the "Nick is Broke" fund, and was wondering what the price difference in a 55 and a 75 gallon tank was. I need something bigger than a 20 for my 4 clown loaches, and my 5 1/2 inch kissing gourami.

Also, I have 2 Emporer 280 biowheel filters, would both of these provide enoug filtration for a 55 or a 75 gallon tank?

my suggestion would be to get the 75gallon. you'll always regret not getting the bigger one and i don't think the price difference is that big.

The price differene is roughly $100. Maybe less, it just depends on where you go. 75's are nice tanks to have.

Yea, you're right. I'll alway regret not getting a bigger one.

The reason behind this is I have 3 tanks running right now, and that creates alot of work on my part. And things that create alot of work for me make me mad, so IO'll just get one big tank and sell the others.

Anyone in the Atlanta area interested in a few 20 gallons, and a Penguin 170 filter? lol

the 2 emperor 280s would be enough for 55 and just enough for a 75 the price difference like said before is around $100 depending on where you go

The price difference you will see from 55 to 75 is pretty small, in aquarium terms $100 is not a lot - you'd be better off to get a 90 gallon. We all know you really want a 90 gallon
