Last night I was playing with my cats letting them chase the red dot on a laser pointer. I noticed UB looked curious about it so I let the dot show in the aquarium, (not on the fish of course) UB was a little predator, stalking and then closes in on the helpless dot. Where ever the dot went, UB was sure to follow, A few times when he reached it I shut it off, UB stopped dead in his tracks wondering What the ???? :D Nice way to end your betta's boredom.

I call him UB after my Uncle Bob (U-B) since he got me into Bettas. (-:

BTW he was like that little dancing fruit. He was all over the place trying to eat the red lighted bug. But after a few times, he stopped chasing and just watched it, I think he figured me out.

I tried it and it didn't work. I think if my betta had a middle finger he would have stuck it up at me for being so foolish as to think he'd be interested. HOwever my cat is suddenly very interested in the fish tank! Yikes!

I thought the clowns were going for it, but no...I suppsed next time I should try not playing in the middle of feeding time!
