Well my tank plans are set in stone now. LOL. And these two fellas are my last additions.

They're my favorite oscars so far of all the ones I've seen---except maybe the one that was taunting me to buy him at the LFS the other day, but yours come in at a close 2nd.

Is it possible that maybe...just maybe...the "missing scales and so on" that Bob is referring to is actually just a part of its natural coloration? I don't know about you, FishGeek, but personally I don't make a habit of purchasing fish with all kinds of missing scales. Then again...perhaps this was a 'rescue' mission? Somehow I have a feeling the oscar is just naturally like that though.

Yes hes supposed to be that way, its just his coloration. And yes hes a red oscar.
