Leaf stuck in fish mouth

So today I noticed that Smrt (one of the female swordtails) has some kind of leaf fragment in her mouth. Of course she's not choking, but it doesn't look like she can get it out. It's stuck. She keeps opening her mouth as if she's trying to get rid of it, but it's not coming out. What do I do?!

Do you know what kind of leaf it is?

I personally don't like touching my fish, so I'd probably leave it. If you're brave, you could try catching the fish and removing the leaf with tweezers.

It's out. She seems fine now.
The leaf came from one of the anubiases I believe.
Just wanted to see if there were any smart techniques for getting leaves out of fishy mouths.
Thanks for the tips, catching her would have been hard though and would have freaked her out. My swordtails are weakies.

i had a spotted puffer once, and somehow he got a little peice of plastic stuck in his mouth. i didnt really know what ot do, so i left him alone for a little bit to see if he could spit it out, but he couldnt. he just kept swimmin up and down the side of the tank lookin at me like he wanted help so i netted him and picked him up and pulled it out for him. it had gotten stuck in his little buckteeth, and he didnt try to get away from me when i touched him, he didnt puff up or anything, he acted like he knew i was helping and he turned out just fine
