Leaky Tank?

Last night I noticed 10 gallon tank was down a quarter of water and the water was all over the stand and floor. It seemed to happen in only an hour from being fine to a mess. I first thought it sprung a leak then I notice the filter seemed to be backwashing the water out of the tank and I thought that was the problem. Now its almost 24 hour and I got a new filter but water seems to be coming from under the tank. Is it possible its water from yesterday? Or is there a leak?

Drain it. Make sure it's 100% dry, place it in a bathtub with a dry towel under it, then carefully fill it without getting the towel wet.

Check it in 24hours.
