Does anyone know where to buy for aquarium use? Or has anyone successfully treated cammalanus with alternative meds?

Shoot...did you do a search on the board? There was someone talking about it awhile back that sounded like they successfully delt with it, but I can't for the life of me remember who it was. Try different spellings too I thought it was canelanus or camelanus?

I found the thread earlier, it was Orion but he had something different. Every site I've found says to order the meds online but the only sites I've found that sell it are for human colon cancer. :s

The Petsmart by my office sells a lot of horse supplies so I'm hoping the vet there will be able to give me some.

I was hoping someone else had experience with more readily available meds.

Also, if anyone knows how one gets cammalanus please let me know. I did test the water and all stats are in order (0 am, 0 nitrite, 20 nitrate, can't get it lower no matter how many water changes, pH steady at 7.2, I don't remember what Phos was but it was in the normal color range on the chart. Tempture hovers around 75. It might get a bit lower than that at night because downstairs tends to stay frigid but I have 2 heaters in all my tanks.

It's been 6 months or so since my last fish purchase (was just before the 'plumbing' incident this past summer) and I've not introduced any new plants either.

Good luck... I looked for nearly two years for Levamisole, without luck.

Froggy I had a thread just before I went quiet here(so... 8 months ago I guess?), that could be what you're thinking about...

Anyway, I have successfully dealt with the little ******s, but others have tried my method without success. Maybe I got lucky?

All I used was InternalParasite Guard By Jungle. I had to treat several times, but eventually it did work.

Thanks bigred. A friend in West Virginia just happens to be going to the feed store today so he's going to see if he can find some there for me. If he can't then I'll give the Jungle stuff a try.

If you can get Levamisole, jump at it; I would have but wasn't lucky enough to find any.

The thing with the Jungle medicine is, I am the only person that seems to have had any luck with it. I've reccomended it to several people, but to no avail.
