Light ?

I have a light question. For a reef tank what lights are needed? We have two T8 lights one power glow and one marine glow. One local store said that is good for now. The other store said we need a combo of blue and white LED lights. About 300 whats and something kelvin. Our tank has been up about a year and we want to start adding coral.

you can probably try mushrooms first and see how those do under your current lighting.
