lighting for awk. tank size...

okay so i just inherited a approx. 14 gal tank...it is not a standard of course the demension is 14.5L x 12.5 x 18.5

any suggestions? i know i have to do the whole retro fitting but i want some juice so i can start a tiny nano reef system...

i can go either light fixture for 14.5 or 12.5

what do u guys think

id go as powerful as possible... that IS a freaky sized tank. going to be hard to find something powerful enough to reach the bottom, but not be huge and hang over the sides.

you can always get a halide pendant. lol

Are you looking into PC lighting? I'm assuming so, but I just want to make sure

well i was thinking pc's but the tank is is about 18 inches tall and probably another 3 or 4 more inchs cuz the lights are going to be sticking above the actually tank

i was thinking MH lighting some kind of retro fit probably 70w? thatll probably be the highest lighting this tank size can go

so a buddy of mine at the lfs i work for is going to help me jimmy rig something

see i was thinkink about that system but it would hang out about 2 inches on each side i was thinking about making my own canopy/MH 70w fixture...put in 4 built in fans two in two out

but who knows what i really want to do? ahha
