okay being electrically (and plumbing) challenged I have a question or two....

are 150 watt and 175 wall de hqi bulbs the same size? and if so

could I swap out a 150 bulb and replace it with a 175 along with swapping the 150 ballast with an icecap 175 ballast?

if I can't switch bulbs can I drive a 150 bulb with a 175 ballast?

Ice Caps electronic ballasts can handle the wattage difference, the 175w have a range of 150-230w. It's not recommended by the manufacturers but it works.
